What the analytics layer watches for

Each camera is tuned to the scene in front of it. You choose which events matter at which hours, and everything else stays quiet.

Perimeter intrusion

Trip lines and zones that separate a person climbing a fence from a raccoon crossing it.

Loitering and dwell

People or vehicles staying longer than they should near entrances, ATMs, or stock.

PPE and safety rules

Hard hats, vests, restricted zones, forklift-pedestrian conflicts on the warehouse floor.

Licence plate reading

Gate access from a known list, dwell time per vehicle, and a searchable arrival record.

Occupancy and queues

Counts by entrance and hour, queue length at the till, peak load against staffing.

Smoke and flame

Early visual detection in yards, bins, and loading areas where detectors can't reach.

Slip, fall, and man-down

A person on the ground triggers an operator call, not a report you read on Monday.

Camera health

Offline, blinded, knocked out of alignment, or recording nothing — flagged the same day.

Three layers, one contract

Most clients start with analytics on the cameras they own, then add the parts of the response they don't want to staff themselves.

LAYER 01 / SOFTWARE

AI video analytics

We connect to your recorder, tune each camera to its scene, and turn footage into events you can search, count, and act on.

  • Works with existing IP and analog cameras
  • Rules by camera, zone, and time of day
  • Alerts to phone, email, Teams, or webhook
  • Weekly operations report by site
LAYER 02 / STATION

Remote monitoring

Licensed operators watch the alert queue around the clock, confirm what the camera saw, and follow your escalation list.

  • Live audio talk-down through site speakers
  • Virtual patrols on a schedule you set
  • Verified dispatch to police or your key holder
  • Open and close checks for staff arrivals
LAYER 03 / ON SITE

Guards and patrols

People on the ground when a screen isn't enough — licensed, uniformed, and scheduled around your actual risk hours.

  • Static posts, concierge, and gatehouse
  • Mobile patrol with GPS-stamped checkpoints
  • Alarm response and lock-up service
  • Event and construction site coverage

How one alert travels

The point of the analytics layer is that almost nothing reaches you. Here is the path from pixel to phone call.

1

Camera detects

The model flags movement that matches a rule you set for that camera and that hour.

under 2 seconds
2

Operator verifies

A licensed operator opens the clip, checks the live view, and decides whether it's real.

median 38 seconds
3

Action is taken

Talk-down over site speakers, a mobile patrol dispatched, or a verified call to police.

immediately on confirmation
4

Everything is logged

Clip, timestamp, operator notes, and outcome land in a record you can export.

Operations data is the quiet benefit: arrival times by carrier, how long trailers sit, when the back door is propped, which aisle draws a crowd at 4pm. Same cameras, new use.

Where we work

Coverage across Brampton, Mississauga, and the wider Greater Toronto Area, with remote monitoring available anywhere in Canada.

Questions clients ask first

Do we have to replace our cameras?

Almost never. If your recorder supports ONVIF or RTSP, we connect to it. Analog cameras run through an encoder. We audit every camera during the walkthrough and tell you which ones can't carry analytics — usually because of angle, light, or resolution — before you sign anything.

Does footage leave our site?

You choose. Analysis can run on a small appliance in your comms room, with only event clips leaving the building, or on our hosted platform. Retention, access, and who can export are set per site and written into the agreement.

How many false alerts will we get?

You should get close to zero, because you aren't the first line — operators are. During the first two weeks we tune rules against your real scenes: weather, headlights, wildlife, and passing traffic are the usual culprits, and each one is a tuning job rather than a new subscription.

Are your guards and operators licensed?

Yes. Guards and monitoring operators are licensed under Ontario's Private Security and Investigative Services Act, uniformed, insured, and trained on your site-specific post orders before their first shift.

What does it cost?

Analytics is priced per camera per month, monitoring per site, and guarding per hour with a shift minimum. Most clients cut guarded hours once analytics is live, so the first quote we give you includes both the old and the new cost side by side.

Book a site walkthrough

We visit, review every camera and its angle, and send a written assessment of what can be automated and what still needs a person. No charge, and no obligation to continue.

We reply within one business day. Urgent site issue? Call the station instead — someone picks up at 3am.

Request noted.

A coordinator will call to schedule the walkthrough, usually within one business day. If it can't wait, call 905 555 0124 and ask for dispatch.
